Kirby's Dream Course is a golf simulator in isometric 3D, originally called "Special Tee Shot" with non-Kirby assets before making the switch late in development. it shares many SFX with Earthbound, as they were developed around the same time, and has the most toxic multiplayer hosted on the SNES, but you knew that already right?

TRIVIA:
  • in the US version there's no intro sequence. this was done probably to save disk space, as NTSC-U carts (1mb) are 5mb smaller than NTSC-J carts (1.5mb)
  • despite the 20th anniversary handbook and your dreams of getting a hole in 1 for every map, this is currently a TAS only feat.
  • "Special Tee Shot" is still playable in it's original vision, as it became a Satellaview game.
  • apparently there was supposed to be a sequel called Kirby Bowl 64 (how original.) it's playable as a demo, but it never released officially.
